Der besterhaltene dreischläfrige Galgen Deutschlands - um 1550 errichtet, erneuert 1597. Er diente der Gerichtbarkeit des Zentgerichts Beerfelden. Das Steinkreuz unter der Linde war Standort der zum Tode Verurteilten beim Empfang der Sterbesakramente. Letzte Hinrichtung im Jahre 1804, eine Zigeunerin wegen Diebstahls eines Huhnes und zweier Laib Brot.
