The 6900 Santa Monica Boulevard building is on the old historic Route 66, which now has historic markers. The building is the last two units in a row of stripped down art deco built between 1927-1934. It first belonged to Richard Simonton, founder of CCI, then it passed to Bill Muster, then to the Muster children, who owned it for an additional ten years. It was sold in 1999. It still functions as a studio.
