Boodle fight is tradition originated in Philippine military where they eat in bare hands (no utensils) or "kamayan" and eating with the whole squad, commrades, and/or family. Different food is serve in a clean pile of banana leaves, dishes that are cooked dry is the best option for a Boodle fight. Such as barbecue, tuyo (dried fish), porkchop, inihaw na isda (grilled fish), dried adobo, salted eggs, shanghai, and some vegatables that are half cooked like okra, eggppant, kangkong (water spinach) you can also include some fruits like watermelon, melom, amd mangoes but overall you can add anything that suits your boodle fight taste. Boodle fight is not only a tradition but also a series of all-in-one dish that will give you the best experience of what a Filipino comradery is.
