Summary

Description
English: Yosemite National Park, California. Hanging valley of Bridalveil Creek, showing its pronounced form which is controlled, in large measure, by sparse diagonal joint structures. The valley has been occupied by ice, probably in the form of a more or less stagnant lobe of the main Yosemite Glacier, and is not believed to have been significantly altered by glacial erosion.
