English: Fuchs is an amphibious, 6 wheeled vehicle with a water speed of 10 kph, also called TPz1 in Germany where it is manufactured. First purchased in NBC Reconnaissance version by the British Army during the Gulf War, this vehicle will become the core element of the UK's Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Defence Regiment. Currently under development at the Chemical Defence Establishment, the vehicle will be equipped with the joint US/UK Integrated Biological Detection System (IBDS) for NBC Defence work.
