English: Bryn Melyn bus (reg. F201 OPD), a 1988 Dennis Dominator double-decker with East Lancs '1984-style' body (#A8801), seen here in Wrexham on route 5. Bryn Melyn is owned by GHA Coaches. New to London Country South West, it was a solitary coach seated vehicle intended for coaching work, but was soon employed on express bus work, on the Guildford-Croydon route 408, based at Leatherhead garage. It was delivered with a new experimental livery and exhibited at the 1988 Motor Show. Having been unofficially numbered DD1, it became 601 in 1989 when new bus seated Dominators arrived as 602-9, starting the company's new number only fleetnumber scheme. The experimental livery wasn't adopted, and it was later repainted into Green Line NBC style livery, for use on route 715, working out of Guildford garage. Following green line restructuring, it was later repainted into Countryliner livery - the company's coaching division. By 1992 it was back at Leatherhead, but in standard London & Country and converted to bus seating. In 1996 it was officially given the number DD1, after the reintroduction of prefixed fleetnumbers. In May 1998 it was withdrawn, being sold to Bryn Melyn a month later, who have since scrapped it.
