Summary

Description
English: Brynglas Station,
View NE, towards Abergynolwyn; Talyllyn 2ft. 3in. Railway, Towyn Wharf - Abergynolwyn (to Nant Gwernol since 29/5/76). Brynglas was one of the original stations. The line had been kept going (just) until 6/10/50. It was then acquired by the Talyllyn Railway Preservation Society, who reopened it on 4/6/51, as the first railway in the world to be preserved as a heritage railway. [I was one of the original members and worked there briefly in 8/51].
