Illus Kiesl. 4.5.1951 Hilfe für den Steinkohlenbergbau (Das Jugenddorf Ölsnitz). Ein Schwerpunkt unseres Fünfjahrplans ist der Steinkohlenbergbau. Bisher war es nicht möglich, den Produktionsplan bei der Steinkohle voll zu erfüllen. Darum meldete sich im Februar 1951 die Jugendbrigade "Werner Thoma" vom Talsperrenbau Granzahl freiwillig zur Arbeit in das Zwickau-Ölsnitzer Steinkohlenrevier. Gleichzeitig forderten die Mitglieder der Brigade alle Jugendlichen der Republik auf, ihrem Beispiel zu folgen und den Beruf des Bergmanns zu erlernen. Bisher leben 230 junge Kumpel aus allen Ländern der DDR im neu errichteten Jugenddorf Ölsnitz. UBz: Erhard Thümmler gehört zu den FDJlern, die dem Aufruf der Brigade "Werner Thoma" folgten. Am 1.5.1951 wurde dieses Jugenddorf als "Alfred Baumann" Jugendstadt eingeweiht. |
