Description |
Nederlands: Deze 'Afrikaanse banjo' heeft 3 snaren, die over een kam naar het uiteinde van de klankkast lopen. Op de hals is een 'capo tasto' bevestigd: een apparaatje waarmee de vibreerlengte van de snaren veranderd kan worden. Het klanklichaam is van een gebruikt blikje gemaakt (zg.'tweede gebruik') en bedekt met leer. Dit soort primitieve luiten worden 'ramkies' genoemd (zie Encyclopedie, blz.182; Wegner, blz.154; Grove, vol.3, blz.190-191). De woorden 'T.Xumena' en 'Look Louina Kissi Me Kambulu' zijn met ballpoint op de klankkast geschreven.
