Español: Figura 3C. Recambio de cardiomiocitos endógenos residentes en el corazón de ratón adulto valorado mediante Inmunocitoquímica.

Cardiomiocito aislado por disociación enzimática, que muestra su estructura característica “bifurcada”.
Líneas en rojo corresponden a la tinción de la actinina sarcomérica. Demuestran la estriación transversal del cardiomiocito.

La inmunocitoquímica:
para GFP (en verde) es un marcador específico para cardiomiocitos endógenos residentes,
para αSA (en rojo) actinina sarcomérica α‐ proteína de unión a la actina (un marcador específico para cardiomiocitos endógenos), y
para H3P (en blanco) un marcador de cariocinesis
Núcleos marcados con DAPI en azul.
Revela que el corazón adulto joven contiene un pequeño pool de cardiomiocitos residentes cíclicos que se incrementa luego de infarto miocárdico.
