English: Carl Sandburg: 1958, Poet, journalist, and eminent Lincoln historian: His portrait was created by Avard T. Fairbanks during the Lincoln Sesquicentennial. It was cast in bronze and placed at the Chicago Historical Museum and at Knox College, his alma mater, in Galesburg, IL.
