Summary

Description
English: Illustration of Boggart encountered near a Boggart House near Carnforth, as per an account from the Lancaster Gazette (23 Jan 1851) referenced in "The Boggart Sourcebook" by Dr Simon Young. The account describes it so: "The supposed sheep aroused itself and as if with indignity at the insult, swelled out as the man affirms, into the size of a house [sic], and then giving him a look of ineffable contempt flew away in a flame of fire."
