Summary

Description
English: A side-by-side comparison of scanning results with and without applying ICE for a B/W opaque photo. This photo shows a cell fusion process: the bright round-shaped objects are the cell body and the filament structures are microtubules. The red arrows indicate the areas erased by ICE. This image was published in Journal of Cell Science 1991 (https://doi.org/10.1242/jcs.100.3.431, in Figure 7).
