English: On May 28th, 1998, Pakistan's renowned and academic scientists are standing with a high-ranking army officer at the iron-steel tunnel inside the Koh-Kämbran, Räs Koh Hills where the tests were performed. Here at critical moment, academic scientists from Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) and academic scientists from Kahuta Research Laboratories, military engineers from Pakistan Army Corps of Engineers are posing a historical view. Starting from left to right: dr. Näsim Khan, dr. Jävaid Aschraf Mirza, dr. Fäkhär Haschmie, and dr. Mansour Ahmad are standing with the Kahuta Research Laboratories (KRL) director-general dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan (right of the Corps of Engineer officer in the blue beret). The Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) Weapon Testing-Laboratories (WTL-III Team) led by dr. Samar Mubarakmand (left on the army officer), dr. Tärikue Suliyä, dr. Erfän Burnie (with the hat), and dr. Täsneem Schäh, (far right with blue cap on). In the middle, Lieutenant-General Zulfikar Ali Khan is standing, the Military Administrator of the System and Combat Engineering Division, and the Chief of Staff (Core-Commander) of the Pakistan Army Corps of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (EME). (The photo was taken by the unknown authored but the Government of Pakistan releases the photo prior to tests.) |
