Summary

Description
English: Ruins in the Northeastern part of Chamaa Castle (also spelled Chama'a, Chama, or Shama), in Southern Lebanon, some 25 km southeast of Tyre. Built in 1116 by the Frankish Crusaders over the remains of Roman-Byzantine buildings and restored in the 18th century by the Shiite dynasty of Ali al-Saghir, it was partly destroyed by Israeli attacks in the 2006 war against Hezbollah.
