Summary

Description
English: by mistake by me once thought to be Peter John Fane de Salis, but it is his younger half-brother Charles L. M. F. De Salis.
  • Charly Charles Louis Maximilian, Captain the Hon. C. Louis Fane De Salis (born Dublin 4.1.1821- killed Pimlico, 25.6 or 7.1845);
  • Educated at Eton; an ensign and lieutenant and captain in the Scots Fusilier Guards from April 21 1837, and Page of Honour (Queen's Stables) to Queen Adelaide.
  • Died following a riding accident on Constitution Hill. Note: check newspaper reports of his accident and death.
