Description

4 year old boy's right hand after surgery to rectify complete complex syndactyly of two fingers (middle and ring). Surgery was conducted at 9 months of age. Bone was joined at tips of finger together with finger nails prior to corrective procedure. The picture above is an image of this 4 year old’s fingers after the surgery. It seems that this child is now living a happy life. Some interesting information about this type of surgery is how it will induce sweat between the fingers. This will cause their hands to become overwhelming sticky very quickly at a young age. This is visible in the picture.
