Description
The court chamberlain Christopher Schøller Bülow (1770-1830) commissioned Eckerberg to make a series of paintings from the island of Møn, where he owned the manor houses of Nordfelt and Ålebæk. This one shows the church at Borre, with the Bülow family on a Sunday trip in the foreground.
