English: Cirencester Town Station. View northward, to buffer-stops: ex-GWR terminus of the branch from Kemble. Conveniently in the centre of the town, the closure of this station and branch (for passengers on 6/4/64, to goods on 4/10/65) was quite unjustified and much lamented. The Diesel-car used latterly is seen at the buffers. |
