English: City Sports Hall. August 19, 1983, was opened.- no.33., Rákóczi Street, Cegléd, Pest County, Hungary Magyar: Gál József Városi Sportcsarnok. (Gál József (birkózó) után kapta a nevét) A Városi Sportcsarnokot 1983. augusztus 19-én adták át. A létesítmény alapvető feladata a város diákságának, verseny- és szabadidős sportjának maximális kiszolgálása. A fenti feladatok közül egyértelműen a verseny- és szabadidősport a meghatározó, hisz az intézmény olyan adottságokkal rendelkezik. Emellett kultúrális-, céges rendezvények, edzőtáborok megszervezésére is kitűnően alkalmas létesítmény. Az intézmény átadása óta két létesítménnyel is bővült. 1995-ben a Városi Tekepálya, majd 1998-ban a Malomtó széli Sporttelep került a Városi Sportcsarnok irányítása alá. - Magyarország, Pest megye, Cegléd, Rákóczi út, 33 |
