DescriptionCockwood and the Haldon Hills - geograph.org.uk - 1181296.jpg
English: Cockwood and the Haldon Hills. Taken from on board the MV My Queen on an RSPB organised cruise. The spread of houses is the village of Cockwood, and the entrance to its' harbour is on the right but hard to see here, but see 1179634. The hill behind is part of the Haldon Hills, and is Obelisk Plantation above Mamhead Park; it is managed by Forest Enterprise who have made an easy access trail along some of the forest roads.
