An horse carrying both the leopard complex genetics and the tobiano pattern over a chestnut base coat. Leopard genetics clear due to presence of white sclera around eye, spotting by hips, mottled skin on muzzle, and hoof striping. Possible sabino genetics present as evidenced by white on chin and lacy edges to some white markings on body. Horse may be varnish roan variant of leopard, as evidenced by roaning and dark hairs on ears and bony areas of fact, or the horse may simply be going gray. It is also possible the horse is both varnish roan and going gray. Absent additional information provided by owner of horse, the animal is clearly "a horse of a different color."
