Mr. Con Jones with Lalonde and Dandurand VPL Accession Number: 35177 Date: 1912 Photographer/Studio: Thomson, Stuart Content: 'Famous promoter, Con Jones, who built Callister Park, imported Newsy Lalonde (for reported $3,500) left, and Leo Dandurand from east in 1912, the year Vancouver won world lacrosse championship. Lalonde was voted outstanding lacrosse star of last 50 years. Dandurand was later president of both Montreal Canadiens Hockey Club and Alouettes Football club' from Vancouver Sun Jan. 11, 1956 Topic: Lacrosse Sports Men's clothing Hats Person: Jones, Con, d. 1942 Lalonde, Edouard Cyrille (Newsy), 1887-1970 Dandurand, Joseph Viateur (Leo), 1889-1964 Location: British Columbia - Vancouver
