Summary

Description The U.S. Navy Consolidated XB2Y-1 (BuNo 9221) at the Consolidated Aircraft Corporation, Buffalo, New York (USA), 26 June 1932. The XB2Y-1 was a Consolidated answer to a Navy request for a two-seat biplane dive-bomber. However, the U.S. Navy ordered the Great Lakes XBG-1.
