Description
English: Book cover of "Gold, Bankers and Diplomats: A History Of The German Orient Bank 1906-1946" (Berlin: Trafo Publisher Dr. Wolfgang Weist 2002, German) with global pyramid logo connecting three continents of Wolfgang G. Schwanitz' book series "America--Middle East--Europe." The book series logo was created by Wolfgang Weist according to a suggestion by Wolfgang G. Schwanitz. The painting on a postcard of the St. Hedwig's Cathedral and, on the right, the Dresdner Bank's and the German Orient Bank headquarters in Berlin was created by the German painter Wolfgang Tritt (1913-1983).

Source The composition of the Book cover image was suggested by the book's author Wolfgang G. Schwanitz and designed by the book's publisher Wolfgang Weist in Berlin on 08/11/2001. It contains also an image of Berlin's city from a postcard which is based on a painting by the German painter Wolfgang Tritt (1913–1983). The painting has been blurred as it is not yet in the public domain.
