The release is undated, but they received the gold record for the song in 1967. Soon after this, a sister, Susan, joined the group. the woman in the photo is the boys' mother, Barbara, who also performed with them. The group was signed by MGM Records in 1967 and remained with the label until 1971. The "R 1987" shown on the photo appears to be some type of file coding by the record company for the photo.
