Deutsch: Wappen der ehemaligen Gemeinde Wilnsdorf: „Geteilt in Blau und Silber (Weiß), oben in Blau ein silberner (weißer) Halbmond; unten viermal gespalten und einmal geteilt in Schwarz und Silber (Weiß).“
Das am 31. Juli 1939 verliehene Wappen der Gemeinde Wilnsdorf zeigt im oberen Feld den Halbmond als metallurgisches Zeichen für Silber und unten den Kolbeschen Schild. Das Wappen hat 1969 offiziell seine Rechtsgültigkeit verloren.
English: Former coat of arms of the town Wilnsdorf: „Party per fess shield, azure, one crescent argent and below 1 fess chequy ten fields argent and sable.“ The arms were granted on July 31, 1939. The upper half shows a crescent, the old symbol for silver. Already in the 13th century the area was known for its silver mines. The lower half is derived from the arms of the Kolbe von Wilnsdorf family, who played a major role in the local history. |
