Object history
English: The arms were granted on February 11, 1953. The city belongs until the end of the 18th century to the Bishopric of Speyer, this is symbolised by the cross of Speyer. The eagle is derived from the arms of the Lords of Dahn, who ruled the area in the 14th century. The point shows a canting abbie (Tanne), which is derived from the old seals of the village, known since 1599.
