Object history
Deutsch: Die Buchenblätter und das Haus ergeben ein für den Namen Puchheim, der "Siedlung im Buchenwald", redendes Bild. Puchheim wird schon um 950 in den Freisinger Traditionen genannt. Die Feldfarben Silber und Blau erinnern an die beständige Zugehörigkeit zum altbayerischen Herzogtum der Wittelsbacher. Am 17. Mai 2011 wurde die Gemeinde Puchheim zur Stadt erhoben.
