KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FLA. -- After launch, the Delta II rocket carrying the Gravity Probe B spacecraft pitches over and starts heading downrange from Space Launch Complex 2 on Vandenberg AFB, Calif. Liftoff occurred at 9:57:24 a.m. PDT.
