Summary

Description
English: Built in 1926, this Tudor Revival-style building was constructed by the Detroit Edison Power Company to serve as a substation for the village of Lake Orion. The building features a side-jerkinhead or clipped gable slate roof with a front gable, a projected front entrance bay with a gabled roof and wooden door with iron hinges, metal casement windows, half-timbering on the front gable, red brick cladding, and a large switchyard to the rear. The building is a contributing structure in the Lake Orion Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.
