Today the South India Celebrates Deepavali, in comemoration of the victory of Lord Krishna over Narakasura. Tomorrow, the North India Celebrate Diwali. For Hindus, Diwali signifies the return or Lord Rama, the ideal human being from exile, the Sikh celebrate it as the day of return of Guru Hrgobind Sahab from detention at Gwalior, and for Jains, this is the day of Nirvana of Lord Mahavira. Diwali is marked by lighting of lines of lamps, exchange of gifts, sweets, fireworks, gaiety, buying of household items and gambling! This is a time when people remember the near and dear ones and wish them health, wealth and happiness! Flickr is my family and you are all the members, whose association, support and artistic talents I cherish and admire. It is only proper that I wish all of you a very happy, prosperous and joyful Diwali and many many clicking in the coming months!
