English: The court may not be in session, but there is a lot of business taking place outside its precincts! A market taking place in the shadow of the Courthouse in the centre of Dundalk town seems a little incongruous but great use of the great open space! The crispness of this Cabinet size image from Lawrence shows a great skyline of old Dundalk.
Based on the fact that the works on the Cathedral's bell and clock (discussed before) seem to be finished, there's apparent consensus that French captured this view after c.1906. And, based on businesses and other clues available, that it was perhaps before c.1911. (Whittling down the 5 decade catalogue range to just 5 years or so.....)
