Summary

Description
English: Lateral view of cephalothorax of a male Grammonota texana. Note the modified carapace bearing a conical hump, the forward-curved hairs at the apex of the hump, and the backward-curved hairs in the ocular area.

This specimen was collected on 23 May 2015 at Caddo Lake NWR, Harrison County, Texas.

Identified to genus with Spiders of North America: an identification manual (2nd ed.) and to species with Bishop & Crosby 1933.
