The highly anticipated inaugural Samsung Australian Academy of Cinema and Televisions Arts (AACTA) Awards commenced with the AACTA Awards Luncheon, presented by Digital Pictures at the prestigious Westin Hotel in the heart of Sydney.

Today’s ceremony is for the Documentary, Short Film, Television and technical awards in Feature Film, with the writing, acting, directing and major dramatic awards to occur at the AACTA Awards Ceremony on the 31st of January.
