English: Professor Ernst Kühnel of Berlin, Germany, delegate to the Fourth Congress of the International Association for Iranian Art and Archeology, makes a speech of acceptance after he is awarded the Freer Bronze Medal during ceremonies at the Freer Gallery of Art. Dr. Kühnel was given the medal in recognition of his outstanding achievements and contributions to Near Eastern art. Seated on the stage (left to right) are Franz Krapf, Minister from the Germany Embassy; and his excellency, Ardeshir Zahedir, Iran's Ambassador to the United States
