Description
Español: Escudo de Rois, en La Coruña (España); En 1985 la Xunta de Galicia a propuesta de la corporación aprobó el actual escudo del ayuntamiento. Sigue conservando la presencia del árbol tradicional, pero además incorporó una concha de vieira por estar situado Rois en la "Tierra de Santiago", y por cruzar por uno de los extremos el "Camino Portugués" de las peregrinaciones (parroquia de Ribasar), y por el otro (Urdilde y Ermedelo), el de los que venían por mar hasta Noia, el "puerto de Compostela". Su descripción en la terminología heráldica es como sigue: en campo de argén (plata), un árbol de color natural, debajo en la punta una concha de vieira de peregrino de oro, y como timbre la corona real.
