Description
English: A Ferida (The Wound) is a granite sculpture of 400 tons and 11 meters high next to the Virxe da Barca church in Muxía, in the Way of St. James to Fisterra-Muxía, in the province of A Coruña, Galicia, Spain. The sculptor Alberto Bañuelos Fournier was commissioned to commemorate the volunteers who cleaned the beaches after the Prestige oil spill. The Way of St. James is considered as Heritage of Cultural Interest.
Español: A Ferida (La Herida) es una escultura de 400 toneladas de granito y 11 metros de altura próxima a la iglesia de la Virxe da Barca en Muxía, en el camino de Santiago a Fisterra-Muxía, en la provincia de A Coruña, Galicia, España. Se le encargó al escultor Alberto Bañuelos Fournier para conmemorar a los voluntarios que limpiaron las playas tras la marea negra del Prestige. El Camino de Santiago está considerado Bien de Interés Cultural.
Galego: A Ferida é unha escultura de 400 toneladas granito e 11 metros de altura a carón da igrexa da Virxe da Barca en Muxía, no camiño de Santiago a Fisterra-Muxía, na provincia da Coruña. Foi encargada ó escultor Alberto Bañuelos Fournier para conmemorar ós voluntarios que limparon as praias trala marea negra do Prestige. O Camiño de Santiago está considerado Ben de Interese Cultural.
