Description

Førde church, Førde municipality, Sunnfjord region, Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. Built in 1885.

Frå NRKs Fylkesleksikon:

Førde kyrkje, bygd 1885. Arkitekt J.W. Nordan, byggmeister Iver Løtvedt.

Altartavle frå 1643, rekna som eit nasjonalt praktstykke frå barokken. Gåve frå prest Peder Jørgenson Finde og kone Barbra Nitter.

Preikestol frå 1672. Epitafium frå 1681 framstiller kjøpmann Hans Andersson Findmand med familie. Måleri frå 1686, motiv Himmelfarten. Kyrkjeklokker frå 1776 og 1934.

Biletvev i kyrkjeskipet av Marit Erland framstiller kyrkjeåret. Messehakel frå 1671 i Bergen Museum. Pulpitur (del av kyrkjestol) frå 1681 på Norsk Folkemuseum.
