DescriptionFalcons Festa Major del Clot Camp de l'Arpa 2009 Barcelona.jpg
The Falcons are a demonstration sport-gymnastics appeared in Catalonia in the early twentieth century, taking as reference the Sokol (Falcon in Czech), which has become traditional in Penedes. In their constructions are acrobatic performances, reminiscent of the castles, but with more variety of shapes and with fewer participants, and with more variety of styles between the different groups, although there is a part of the repertoire of figures common to all. Although many buildings are of a static, dynamic appearance and choreography there is more important than the castles and the aesthetic effect sought with the composition of different shapes simultaneously (http://ca.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falcons).
