English: Five lost lifeboat men and four graves These are the graves of the five crewmen lost in the attempt to rescue the crew of the SS Timbo in Caernarfon Bay on December 3rd, 1920. Behind the graves is the memorial erected by public subscription.
Two of the men, buried in the same grave, were brothers.
These brave men were:
Evan Hughes (34) and Richard Hughes (18), the sons of Edward and Mary Hughes, Cymyran.
Owen Jones (38) the husband of Lizzie Jones.
William Thomas (18), the son of Moses and Mary Thomas, 'Rallt, Rhoscolyn
Owen Owens (61) husband of Mary Owen of Pant y Llin, Trearddur.
