DescriptionFlag of Mariquita.svg	Español: Bandera del municipio de Mariquita (Tolima). Fue creada de conformidad al Acuerdo número 001 de 1981diciembre 2, Artículo 33 y acuerdo 014 del 16 de junio de 1997, Artículo Segundo Literal C, y su parágrafo, y el reglamentario Acuerdo número 013 de 1999, abril 5, Parágrafo Primero. La Bandera esta conformada por tres franjas horizontales: Amarilla, blanca y verde. Amarilla: Colocada en la parte superior, representando las minas de oro, explotadas en la época de la colonia, ancho 40 cms. Blanco: al centro representa las minas de plata explotadas por nuestros antepasados, de 50 cms, de ancho; lleva inserto al centro el Real Escudo de Armas. Verde: en la parte inferior, representa la fertilidad de nuestras tierras en dimensión de 40 cms de ancho. La Bandera mide 1,30 mts de ancho por 2mts de largo.
