DescriptionFlickr - Israel Defense Forces - Guns Found in Palestinian Vehicle Near Nablus.jpg
03/09/2005
IDF forces stopped an attempted arms smuggle into Nablus when Israeli soldiers identified a suspicious vehicle with 3 Palestinians. The car was asked to stop and following the procedures for stopping suspicious vehicles, a soldier fired into the air after they did not stop. Abruptly, the vehicle stopped and a militant exited the car and begun to run. Israeli soldiers fired at his lower body and injured the militant. He was taken to an Israeli hospital for treatment and was later investigated. The remaining two Palestinians were also brought in for questioning. Three guns were found in the vehicle.
