Summary

Description
English: Grand Trunk Western steam locomotive 5629 is shown pulling its first ever excursion train; a Michigan Railroad Club-sponsored train between Detroit and Bay City, Michigan. Future steam preservationist Richard Jensen was on board this train, and it was learning about No. 5629's planned scrapping and his desire to run his own trains that encouraged him to purchase the locomotive the following year.
