Description
English: Arms of Gay of Goldworthy and Frithelstock, Devon: Or, a chevron between three escallops azure. As seen on monument of Richard Beaple (d.1643) in Barnstaple Church, in Monkleigh parish church, in Newton St Cyres parish church, etc. (Vivian, Lt.Col. J.L., (Ed.) The Visitation of the County of Devon: Comprising the Heralds' Visitations of 1531, 1564 & 1620, Exeter, 1895, p.392, footnote 12).

Also arms of Trenchard of Collacombe, Devon (Pole, Sir William (d.1635), Collections Towards a Description of the County of Devon, Sir John-William de la Pole (ed.), London, 1791, p.505). Collacombe is an historic manor in the parish of Lamerton, Devon.

Also the arms of Erneis de Buron-Bures, Lord of Hunsingore (d.1106)[1]
