DescriptionGeneral.Frantisek.Blaha.(1886-1945).gif	Čeština: František Bláha (* 1886 - 1945) byl československý voják, generál a jeden z vrchních velitelů vojenské ilegální odbojové (protinacistické) organizace Obrany národa (ON). Po vypuknutí první světové války byl 23. listopadu 1914 odeslán na ruskou frontu, kde po šesti dnech padl do zajetí. Do československých legií vstoupil 30. června 1916. Zúčastnil se bojů u Marianovky a Jekatěrinburgu. Do nově vzniklého Československa se dostal 1. června 1921 a v prvorepublikové armádě prošel mnoha velitelskými funkcemi. Po okupaci Čech a Moravy německou armádou se v řadách Obrany národa zapojil do odboje. Po zatčení (22. června 1944) generála Zdeňka Nováka (stál v čele tzv. třetí garnitury ON) jej generál František Bláha nahradil v čele této organizace. Ve spolupráci s příslušníky výsadku Barium vybudoval ve východních Čechách mobilizační síť počítající s vytvořením čtyř divizí a jejich nasazením po přiblížení se fronty. Dne 17. listopadu 1944 byl František Bláha zatčen gestapem a uvězněn v Malé pevnosti v Terezíně. Svoji veliteksou funkci v ON tedy vykonával od června 1944 do listopadu 1944, kdy byl vystřídán generálem Františkem Slunečkem (krycí jméno Alex). V Malé pevnosti Terezín se sice František Bláha dožil osvobození Československa, ale zemřel při epidemii tyfu 21. května 1945. Foto před rokem 1945. Autor fotografie není znám.
