English: Photograph of Vice Admiral george Warrender.
Date or earlier. Rank insignia is that of a Rear-Admiral, which rank Warrender served in from July 1908 to December 1912.
Source Book, Kiel and Jutland by Commander Georg von Hase, 1921. Available here. According to the text, Warrender presented Hase with a signed photograph of himself after Hase acted as his interpreter and aide during the Royal Navy visit to Kiel Regatta week in 1914. Most probably first published in Germany, written in German, translated by Arthur Chambers and F. Holt.
