Summary

Description

This longicorn beetle has been reported to invade cacao [hostplant: Theobroma cacao L.] plantations, which causes great damage if the plantation is not properly maintained; the "work" of the larvae provides the entry of a fungus that causes bark cancer in cocoa [HAWKESWOOD, 2009].
