Italiano: Wilhelm von Gloeden (1856-1931). "Pescatore catanese". Numero di catalogo: 0024. Cm 13x18. Questa immagine ha una storia piuttosto complessa. Un esemplare venduto dalla casa d'aste francese Binoche & Giquello portava il timbro a secco di Giovanni Crupi. Tuttavia essa appare col numero 24 nel catalogo di Gloeden, il quale inviò copia di questo scatto alla "Velhagen & Klasings Monatshefte" che ne trasse un'incisione pubblicata nel 1897 a suo nome. Come se non bastasse, un altro esemplare riporta il timbro di Giuseppe Bruno, che a questo punto ne è il più probabile autore.
English: Wilhelm von Gloeden (1856-1931). "Fisherman from Catania". Catalogue number: 0024. Cm 13x18. Authorship of this image is somewhat obscure. A print of it sold by French acution house Binoche & Giquello bore Giovanni Crupi's blindstamp. Nevertheless, the image bears # 24 in Gloeden's catalogue, and Gloeden sent a copy of this shot to the "Velhagen & Klasings Monatshefte", which had an engraving taken from it and published it in 1897 under Gloeden's name.
