English: Newport Harbor Light, also known as Goat Island Light is located on the northern tip of Goat Island in Newport Harbor. It was built in 1842, originally a few yards off the island and connected to it by a dike, but the gap was filled in for the construction of a hotel on the island in the 1960s.
The lighthouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1968.
